On Psalm 37—Part 2

(Ps 37:12) The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth.
(Ps 37:13) The Lord shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming.

The Lord is in control and he knows the end of the wicked. He endures "with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction" (Ro 9:22). Now, Ro 9:22 applies to the wicked who will not repent.

The presence of the wicked, though not pleasing to God, is in accordance with his plan (as can be inferred, for instance, from 2Ki 19:25). God uses all things to achieve good, including the evil actions of the wicked. For example, some people have been saved when facing difficult circumstances caused by wicked people.

(Pr 16:4) The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.

(Ps 37:14)MKJV The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, to kill those who walk uprightly.
(Ps 37:15) Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken.

"Their sword shall enter into their own heart", for their evil intentions will testify against them "in the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ" (Ro 2:16).

(Ps 37:16) A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked.

(Pr 20:17) Bread of deceit is sweet to a man; but afterwards his mouth shall be filled with gravel.

(Ps 37:17) For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the LORD upholdeth the righteous.
(Ps 37:18) The LORD knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever.

" ... the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, ... I am ... thy exceeding great reward" (Ge 15:1). God himself is the inheritance of the believers, for they are "heirs of God" (Ro 8:17).

(Ps 37:19) They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.

(Mt 6:31)EMTV Therefore do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we put on?'
(Mt 6:32) "For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
(Mt 6:33) But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

(Ps 37:20)NKJV But the wicked shall perish;
And the enemies of the LORD,
Like the splendor of the meadows, shall vanish.
Into smoke they shall vanish away.

(1Pt 1:24) For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:
(1Pt 1:25) But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. ...
